Caleb Gafrarar Heads Overseas for the First FIA Karting Academy Event of 2022

It has been a successful season to date for Caleb Gafrarar and now he will look to continue his winning ways overseas. Taking on the first round of the prestigious FIA Karting Academy, Gafrarar will travel to Genk, Belgium for the May 12-15 event. Racing in equally prepared equipment, the FIA Karting Academy Trophy is the Olympics of Karting.

“I am excited to get back and compete in Europe,” expressed Gafrarar. “I feel like this year has been trending upwards and with experience at the Academy in 2021, I am confident that I will be able to represent the United States well.”

Competing in the three-event series that will see races in Belgium, Italy, and France, Gafrarar is bringing motivation and determination to the 2022 edition of the Academy.

Gafrarar continued, “There are several names that have progressed through the Academy program and into the world of professional motorsports. While the long-term plan is to be a professional race car driver, the short-term goal is win, podium, and earn points to try and be crowed the FIA Karting Academy Trophy Champion.”

Set to hit the track this coming Wednesday, Gafrarar will get down to business on Thursday for official practice before qualifying and wheel-to-wheel action commences over the weekend.
