With multiple race wins, podium results and championships to his credit already in 2022, North Carolina karter Caleb Gafrarar has added a major partner to his race program. Inking a deal with the popular Circle K brand, Gafrarar will act as Ambassador for the company that has brand awareness in several sports and motorsports programs throughout North America.
“I am honored to be associated with the Circle K brand and look forward to putting their brand on the top step of the podium in 2022,” explained an excited Gafrarar. “Motorsports is about on track results, off track presence and partners, and I could not have asked for a better partner than Circle K. Let’s go racing!”
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this journey with Caleb,” stated Misti Mason Lewis, Director of Marketing-South Atlantic Business Unit at Circle K/Couche-Tard.
Circle K’s success in the convenience retailing industry spans more than 60 years. Their roots trace back to 1951 when Fred Hervey purchased three Kay’s Food Stores in El Paso, Texas. Little did anyone know that these stores would serve as the beginning of Circle K. During the next few decades, Circle K grew its retail network through a series of acquisitions, which were incorporated into the Circle K brand. Today, Circle K is the global brand of Alimentation Couche-Tard, a worldwide leader in convenience with more than 14,100 stores in 26 countries and territories.
Gafrarar added, “I can’t thank Circle K enough for the support and association with my race program. I hope that all my followers and everyone in karting will support Circle K in their travels around the country, and I look forward to seeing you trackside.”
Caleb Gafrarar will hit the track today, Thursday, for United States Pro Kart Series unofficial practice before qualifying and wheel-to-wheel racing runs throughout the weekend. Stay tuned to the Caleb Gafrarar social media pages for news, information, photos, and results from the event weekend.
Caleb Gafrarar would like to thank Rolison Performance Group, OTK USA, Kosmic, Circle K, Bell Helmets, Minus 273, From the Ashes and CPI Security for the continued support in the 2022 racing season.
